This is an illustration I did to an exposition in which I participated somo months ago. It is a portrait of Amina Wadud, a muslim feminist activist known for her books about muslim religion for women. She also took the position of an imam, a position reserved to men.
I just wanted to talk about how religion or procedences are not a problem to fight for women rights, that is why her veil has not color)
